1978 at an exhibtion with his design for a poster " Fight the analphabetism". The woman shown on the poster symbolized the kurdish women and also the krdish people beeing bound through analphabetism, deprived pf his possibilities, caught behind the bars of unknownness. The opend hands are reaching for a book which somebody gives through the bars.

The painting shown here was later cut into twelve peaces by iraqi soldiers. It was bought with some other paintings of Ali Latif, by an american lady and brough to an Washington Museum
